Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Forests, Flamingos & Tree-Climbing Lions
Fuel up with a delicious breakfast before setting off on a scenic drive westward, passing coffee plantations and Maasai homesteads, en route to Lake Manyara National Park. Tucked against the Great Rift Valley wall, this park is a living canvas of contrasts—thick groundwater forests, soda lakes glowing pink with flamingos, and vast floodplains where elephants roam freely.
In the acacia woodlands, keep your camera ready: Lake Manyara is famed for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging on branches like leopards.
